When you register with the Practice you will be able to consult any of the doctors
We Offer a variety of appointment options, these will include telephone consultation, face to face appointments or an appointment at the Bath Street Health and Wellbeing Centre in the town centre, particularly aimed at those patients who need to see a doctor after 6pm.
On telephoning the surgery you will be asked for a reason for the call and the receptionist will direct you to the most appropriate appointment type.
Appointments can be made in advance or on the same day, and you can book appointments in a number of ways:
1) By telephone - Please telephone the surgery on 01925 650226 between 8.30am and 6pm.
2) Online booking - Access to 24hour online booking on our website at www.guardianmedicalcentre.co.uk via the online services tab. Please note you must register for this service by attending the surgery with photographic ID and proof of address.
3)There are a wide range of GP appointments available to fit around your work and family commitments. Pre-bookable evening and weekend appointments with a local GP are available from 6pm-8pm Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm Saturdays and Sundays 10-2pm at Bath Street Health and Wellbeing Centre. Easily accessible, the Health and Wellbeing Centre is in the town centre and accessible by public transport on the town’s main bus routes. To access an Extended Access appointment, please call us and we will arrange the appointment for you. Please be aware that you will need to consent to share your medical record with the GP who is on call in the Extended Access Service.
4)GP out of hour’s service -The out of hours GP service is open Monday to Friday 6.30pm - 8.00am and weekends and public holidays 24 hours a day. The emergency GP out of hour’s service in Warrington provides healthcare services for patients who feel their illness cannot wait until their GP surgery re-opens. To access, please call NHS 111.
We are continually monitoring our appointments and we aim to meet patient demands, please do let us know if you have any suggestions or feedback.
We aim to see patients on time, however on occasions; your clinician may be running late. If this is the case we will aim to see you within 30 minutes of your appointment time. You will be kept informed of any delays in your appointment, if you find the delay unacceptable we will, where possible, offer an alternative clinician or a new appointment at a mutually convenient time.
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know, as we are a very busy practice and another patient will be able to benefit from your cancellation.
